Day 7: The tour of the three cantons
Dal Canton of Solothurn to Canton of Fribourg passing through Canton of Bern

Day 4: From the Lakes to the Black Forest
From high traffic roads to cycling roads.
Today starting with downhill and going back to the Lucerne Lake (also called "Lake of the Four Forested Cantons"). The first thing I notice when going out the hotel is children going to school riding push scooters very fast down the hill, indeed Isenthal village is laying on the hill side.

Day 2: Simplon Traffic
The breakfast in the Hotel Monterosa is abundant and excellent enough to start a well riding. Greeted Federico, the hotel owner, who I'm sure is following on the blog, I would recommend the Hotel Monterosa if you are visiting the Orta Lake area.

Day 1: Aldo Pacer, rice fields and Orta Lake
Do you remember Aldo of Pedalando per non dimenticare? Unbelievable pacer today! He went along my first Stage of Turin - Black Forest with me for the first 60 km. With his help (I have been in the wake of him all the time) I arrived up to Santhià with an average speed of about 30 Km/h.

The sea with a lot mountains
Liguria from the eyes (and the bike) of Lorenzo
Lorenzo tells us about these two beautiful days riding in Liguria on the hills above Imperia, that in these September days it is almost like "forcing" Lorenzo to take the bike and riding.

Day 1: 2013 September the 3rd
A Lighthouse above the Aurelia Road, picture taken from the second turn of Poggio uphill (famous for the Milano-Sanremo race), I went up together with 2 racer guys from Laigueglia, even if always following their wheels at the end they even compliment me with me with my trekking bike (I call it the "gate") and the age declared on my id.
After arriving on the top they went down toward Sanremo ... (fortunately) while I got back to my normal pace of retired man toward Ceriana that offer a slight and scenic uphill.
View of Ceriana a couple of turns away, the village is very alive because is the destination of many people from Sanremo, it is strange the Tunnel which splits the village.

Tour Proposal: Turin - Black Forest
This bicycle trip will pick you up in the magic atmosphere of the dense woodland of the German Black Forest, the region which extends from the Swiss border, north from Basel, up to Baden-Baden city. This trip touches only the southern part (Southern Black Forest Nature Park) of the Schwarzwald, which is rich of nature and local traditions. The Tour will pass across Switzerland with its spectacular mountain passes like Simplon Pass, Furkapass and Great St Bernard Pass and reach the Feldberg in the Black Forest (Germany), the highest peak in the area, and the lakeside resort towns of Titisee, the reservoir Lake of Schluchsee and many other highlights that you can see below in this post.
