4th Stage: Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis - Torino
Excellent breakfast that compensate the yesterday scarcity. The Col du Mont Cenis today again, this time it is to get back home.
The view of the Arc valley from the Col du Mont Cenis bends.
A stop at the Alpage of the Petit Moncenis to buy cheese is a must. One of the best Blue cheeses I have never had.
The refuge the Petit Moncenis is also a really wonderful place, if you are around I would recommend, it is located in a nice flat grassland surrounded by the mountains and if it is not crowded as today you can enjoy the sounds of marmots.
I would like to conclude my trip mentioning a writing on the asphalt in the last uphill that took my attention...
"The pain is temporary, the glory is forever"
It is not a big glory in absolute terms but for me the completion of this trip is a big success.
A special thank to my family that in any moment supported me always with enthusiasm. Many thanks to ExtraWheel for sponsorship as well as Cicli Bergamin for the materials used.
