Riding in Fukuoka

He's not me!!!

This area of Fukuoka is very strange it is like a mix among fisherman area (fishing boats), residential area (nice small houses), sportive (the baseball dome), modern (skyscrapers) and industrial harbour. Very peculiar.

Ōhori Park at the sunset.
On the way to downtown we couldn't avoid a short stop to the Gokoku Shrine. Our attention was draw by this gate. At the entrance of the Gokoku Shrine there is indeed this large shrine gate of 13 meters in height, it is the largest in Japan among the ones made of raw wood.

The good bikes!!

The ones between me and the Italian Parents Union, UGI (Unione Genitori Italiani) against children tumor (www.ugi-torino.it), the encounter occurred in the 1984, when I was still a young boy! A young boy father of 2 wonderful creatures, Oriana, 5 years old, and Paolo, 16 months old.
